<p><a href="/w/index.php?title=Documents/Representation_of_the_People_Act&amp;action=edit&amp;redlink=1" class="new" title="Documents/Representation of the People Act (page does not exist)">Documents/Representation of the People Act</a> moved to <a href="/wiki/Document:Representation_of_the_People_Act" title="Document:Representation of the People Act">Document:Representation of the People Act</a></p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>{{Act|Short_title = The Representation of the People Act|Long_title = An Act to Provide for the Representation of the People of Ibagli in the House of Commons; and for Connected Purposes|Assent = 23 November 2005}}<br /> The QUEEN, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and Commons present in this present Parliament assembled, does enact the following:<br /> <br /> &#039;&#039;&#039;1.&#039;&#039;&#039; The House of Commons shall continue to consist of 60 members.<br /> <br /> &#039;&#039;&#039;2.&#039;&#039;&#039; Ibagli shall be divided into 30 electoral districts, each consisting of a similar amount of people per district.<br /> <br /> &#039;&#039;&#039;3.&#039;&#039;&#039; Each district shall elect one person to be a member of the House of Commons.<br /> <br /> &#039;&#039;&#039;4.&#039;&#039;&#039; There shall be a second ballot, on which each registered party shall be listed.<br /> <br /> &#039;&#039;&#039;5.&#039;&#039;&#039; Each party shall maintain a list of thirty party members, in the order in which they will be placed in the additional seats.<br /> <br /> &#039;&#039;&#039;6.&#039;&#039;&#039; The percentage of votes for each party shall be as equal as is possible to the number of additional seats given to the party, if:<br /> <br /> :(1) the party received more than five percent of the vote on the second ballot; or<br /> <br /> :(2) a member of the party received a plurality of the votes in one of the electoral districts.<br /> <br /> [[Category:Acts of Parliament]]</div>
