Thistledowne University is the primary University in Ibagli. It was founded in 1950. It is located in Loygre.

Thistledowne University was founded in 1950. Beginning in 1968, the university began full reciprocity with the University of the South Pacific, making Thistledowne the de facto thirteenth campus of the university system.
