  • 16: Ibaglian athletes compete in the Commonwealth games
  • 30: Sir Henry LeVeque dies

  • 04: The Conservative Alliance dissolves
  • 09: Ibaglian expeditionary force invades Saint-Denis, the location of several ILF leaders. The invasion causes a constitutional crisis when the Minister of Finance announces that he will not support the invasion, and will use his powers to cut funding to the military until the invasion ends.
  • 24: HRH the Princess Royal visits Ibagli

June

  • 03: Dame Annette Farquhar returns to official duties as Governor-General
  • 07: Marcus Smallegan resigns from Parliament. Robert Clarke becomes the leader of the New Conservative Party and of the opposition
  • 29: Soldiers under the leadership of then-Minister of Defence Steven Lyall storm Parliament, seizing control from the government. After the coup, two resistance groups formed, both claiming to be the legitimate government of Ibagli. They formed one group after the "protectorate" was dissolved.

July

  • 06: Dame Annette Farquhar's commission as Governor-General is revoked by the Queen on the advice of the Prime Minister
  • 08: "Protectorate" forces surrender. Lyall goes into hiding
  • 17: Sgt. James Bancroft, RIC, is awarded the George Cross for bravery in apprehending the perpetrators of the ANZAC Day bombing

  • 03: A warrant is issued for the arrest of Speaker of the House Sir Nicholas Warner and 2 other MPs. Warner recalls the House of Commons, staying within its precincts to avoid arrest
  • 27: Sir Marcus Smallegan returns to the House of Commons and the leadership of the House of Commons

  • 01: Sir Steven Spell is announced as the next Governor-General of Ibagli
  • 04: 3 Ibaglian soldiers are killed in Afghanistan
  • 15: Sir Steven Spell installed as Governor-General of Ibagli

October

  • 11: Liberal cabinet minister Sir Jeremy Cannon is appointed to the Supreme Court of Ibagli
  • 16: A motion of confidence in the Pollack government fails. A general election is called for 16 November
  • 28: The Conservative and New Conservative Parties announce that they will rejoin under the Conservative banner

  • 01: The Supreme Court begins an investigation into the June coup
  • 05: Dame Annette Farquhar is arrested for her alleged role in the coup

  • 04: Former cabinet minister Brian Rodney is elected Speaker of the House of Commons
  • 07: A fire in a block of flats in Exeter kills nine
  • 18: Former Speaker of the House of Commons Nicholas Warner is found dead in his prison cell
