The Haphonia Ibagli Temple

The Haphonia Ibagli Temple (formerly the Haphonia Temple) is the 24th constructed and 22nd operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ground was broken on February 17, 1981 by Spencer W. Kimball, the President of the Church. The temple was dedicated by Gordon B. Hinckley, Second Counselor in the wp:First Presidency (LDS Church). The temple is similar in design to the Apia Samoa Temple and the Nuku'Alofa Tonga Temple.
